Race Cars is a picture book that serves as a springboard for parents and educators to discuss race, privilege, and oppression with their kids.

Most safety developments were not based on rigorous laboratory testing, but rather on intuition and a “let’s try it and see what happens” approach. This compendium, edited by some of the foremost racing safety experts, comprises selected technical papers that document the development and implementation of key motorsports safety technologies now in use. But the cost of any data acquisition system is a waste of money if the recorded data is not interpreted correctly.
